HYDROMAX - EXECEPTIONAL WATER RESISTANCE

An exclusive, ECCO-developed treatment for making shoe uppers water-repellent, HYDROMAX® is strong, durable and highly breathable.

During the re-tanning process, a combination of paraffin and silicone bases are added into the leather which creates a water-repellent barrier.

The hydrophobic compound generated as part of the tanning process is distributed throughout the leather structure, providing excellent weather and water resistance, guaranteed for one year.

ECCO has developed this hydrophobic treatment even further, enabling it to be applied to shoes which utilize a textile upper construction, to provide the same durable, water-repellent properties.

As well as helping keep feet dry and comfortable, HYDROMAX® also keeps the upper soft, supple and breathable, preventing it from hardening after repeated exposure to wet conditions.

Providing superb weather and perspiration resistance, the Hydromax ECCO leather treatment ensures uppers remain soft and supple, even after repeated exposure to wet conditions.

Not just a surface effect, the performance characteristics of this treatment are integrated into the leather during the tanning process, meaning they will last for the entire shoe life.
